Full Use

Services

Three ways to get an unfinished project finished.

Every engagement is scoped around a defined result. Most firms start with Implementation Completion. When the remaining work is uncertain, an assessment comes first.

Implementation Assessment

For projects where the remaining work, technical feasibility or required resources are uncertain.

Full Use examines the current process, the existing software and its dependencies, then identifies the specific work necessary to reach a defined result. You receive a written summary of what is left to do, what it depends on, and whether it is realistic with the tools and permissions you have.

For simple projects, this is often a short conversation and a quick review. For complex or uncertain projects, a paid assessment may be appropriate so that the scope can be established properly before any completion work is proposed. We will tell you which applies before anything is billed.

  • Review of the current process and where it stalls
  • Inventory of existing software, editions and permissions
  • Dependencies on staff, vendors or other systems
  • A written scope with a measurable outcome
Core service

Implementation Completion

Full Use completes an agreed, fixed-scope project, including the appropriate configuration, testing, training and documentation.

This is the service most firms engage us for. You define the result you wanted when the project began. We finish the configuration, test it against acceptance criteria we agree on in writing, demonstrate it to the people who will use it, and hand over documentation so it keeps working after we leave.

Fixed-fee proposals are available when the work can be reliably scoped. When it cannot be scoped yet, we recommend starting with an assessment rather than guessing. We do not publish prices because the price depends on the project.

  • Written scope and defined deliverables
  • Configuration completed in your existing systems
  • Testing against agreed acceptance criteria
  • Live demonstration to your team
  • Staff training for the people responsible
  • Documentation and final handoff

Training and Follow-Through

Additional staff training, documentation updates or limited post-implementation assistance, where separately agreed.

Sometimes a project is finished but the firm wants a second training session for new hires, an updated procedure document after a process changes, or a defined block of follow-up help in the weeks after handoff. Those are arranged as separate, limited engagements with their own scope.

What this is not

  • Unlimited or on-call technical support
  • General IT administration, hosting or security management
  • Guaranteed ongoing maintenance of your software

Not sure which one fits?

Describe the project. We will tell you where it belongs.

Discuss an Unfinished Project

What's the one project your firm never quite finished?

Describe it in a few sentences. We will tell you candidly whether it is something we can finish, and if so, what the next step would be.
